Many of you will recall the journalist who came to visit us a few weeks back… Well, this week we are featured in New Haven’s own “Daily Nutmeg!” Many thanks to everyone who spoke to him, and helped him understand what we do.

I thought the article came out very well, in the end.

Yes, there are a few confusions in there (Olympic fencers don’t use rapiers! Longpoint is now defunct! Even in a strange alternate world, there is precisely no chance at all I could have invented HEMA! Also: it would have been great if he could have mentioned all the other great clubs in CT!). But overall I thought the journalist did a great job of getting at the spirit of the thing – doubly so because he has no background in anything like this,
